Firstly, the inspection of rivet appearance is generally divided into three parts. Firstly, the inspection of whether the appearance of a rivet is normal, whether the nut of the expansion rivet with holes is tilted, etc. This inspection also includes defective rivets that can exist and defective rivets that cannot exist. For appearance inspection, it is very important if the appearance of the rivet does not meet the customer’s requirements, So this rivet is an unqualified rivet.
Secondly, the detection of surface hardness of rivets can be considered an important characteristic of rivets. If the inspection does not require heat treatment, it can be directly carried out. However, if the rivet requires hardening treatment, the hardness inspection of the rivet can be done after hardening treatment.
Thirdly, the inspection after electroplating of rivets. For this type of inspection, only the rivets with electroplating are required. After electroplating, the main inspection is whether the electroplating layer fully covers the surface of the rivet, and whether the uniformity of the electroplating layer can effectively protect the rivet itself.
