Pull riveting refers to the plastic deformation of riveted parts under the action of external tension in the riveting process. The deformation position is usually at the specially designed position, and the reliable connection is realized by clamping the base material at the deformation position.
The commonly used pull riveting nut adopts this riveting type to realize the connection with the substrate. Pull riveting uses a special riveter for riveting, which is mostly used when the installation space is small and the general riveting tooling cannot be used.
At present, it is widely used in the assembly of electromechanical and light industrial products such as automobile, aviation, instrument, furniture and decoration. It is developed to solve the defects of easy melting of welding nuts of thin metal sheet and thin pipe, easy sliding of tapping internal threads, etc. it does not need tapping internal threads, welding nuts, firm riveting, high efficiency and convenient use.
