1. If the rivet length is too long, the rivet pier head is too large, and the rivet rod is easy to bend; If the rivet length is too short, the pier thickness is insufficient, and the forming of the rivet head is incomplete, which affects the strength and tight type.
2. The rivet length is too long or too short is not good, only the appropriate length, in order to achieve the best riveting effect. For example: if the total thickness of two or more workpieces is 6 mm, the length of the rivet should be 9.23-13.3 mm. In this case, it is better to use the 12 mm long rivet.
Conclusion:
It is suggested that 50% – 60% should be taken as the standard.
